Linda Opyr
Linda Opyr is the Poet Laureate of Nassau County (2011 - 2013) and the author of six collections of poetry. She was the Visiting Poet in the 1999-2000 Writers Series at Roger Williams University and featured in the 2002 - 03 Poetry Series at Long Island University, the C.W. Post Campus. She also has served on the faculty of the New England Young Writers' Conference at Bread Loaf. In April of 2001 the Suffolk County Legislature presented her with a Proclamation for her work. She holds a Doctor of Arts Degree from St. John's University in English and American Literature.
Linda Opyr's poetry has appeared in The Hudson Review, The Atlanta Review, The Paterson Literary Review, The New York Times, as well as numerous anthologies and other journals, magazines, and newspapers.
She has always lived on Long Island.
Roxanne Hoffman
Roxanne Hoffman worked on Wall Street, now answers apatient hotline for a New York home healthcare provider.

She runs the small literary press Poets Wear Prada with poet,fiction writer and translator John "Jack" Edward Cooper. Her elegiac poem "In Loving Memory" with illustrations by Connecticut artist Edward Odwitt was published as a chapbook in 2011.
Peter Dugan
Peter V. Dugan was born and raised on Long Island. He is a graduate of The New School in New York City. He has published four collections of poetry, Medusa's Overbite , Members Only ,A Cul-de-Sac Off Of Main Street and Eulogies for Dreams. He hosts readings at the Oceanside Library and Wyld Chyld Tattoo and Café on Long Island.
Peter V. Dugan's pieces have been published individually in recent years in Long Island Sounds Anthology, The Examination Anthology, Toward Forgiveness Anthology, The Bards Anthology, the magazines Aitia, Asbestos, Brownstone Poets, LI Quarterly, Perpetual Toxins, The Poet's Art, Soul Fountain, The Five Town Forum, The Nassau Herald, the e-magazines Erato Poetry, Good Liar and Road Poet. He work has also been published in the Long Island PPA Literary Review and can be seen on poetryvlog.com. and youtube.com.
Peter V. Dugan's major influences have been William Carlos Williams, Allen Ginsberg, Lawrence Ferlinghetti, Frank O'Hara and Jack Kerouac.
Bev Kotch
Beverly is wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
She is Director of Program Development, Long Island Writers' Guild; member of the Farmingdale Poetry Group and of the FBSN; published prose writer; award winning poet; holder of scholarship key from Phi Alpha Theta, co-facilitates writing workshops in the East Meadow Library, and founder of LIWG Reads.
Beverly was a member of the original Poet Laureate Committee that established the position of Poet Laureate in Nassua County, sat Outreach Chair of Max Wheat's Poet Laureate Committee and was a member of the Nassau County Poet Laureate Selection Committee and is now Secretary of the Long Island Poet Laureate Society.
She has published one chapbook of poetry so far. I'm In Here Somewhere. and is working on a second while deep into the first draft of her historical novel, The Faithful and is in the final stages of revising a 10,000 word contribution to an anthology titled Chapter One.
