Announcing the June, 2011 Lineup!

The countdown is on-- just 3 weeks to go before opening night of our 5th season!

Sponsors have once again been amazingly generous-- there will be lots of smiles this summer as the kids get on the bus to Kamp Kiwanis! And authors and poets have been most kind in their offer to donate their time and talent.

And we know our bakers are readying some great desserts!

(By the way, join us on Facebook!/home.php?sk=group_59942291706)--and feel free to pass this email on to friends!)

We have had over 250 people (so far) request to read--once again we have to turn away too many friends and talented people--certainly the hardest part of this endeavor.

That said, we are still finalizing our July and August calendars--but here is the June, 2011 lineup:

Judy J R Turek Linda Tagliaferro
Talia Carner Elizabeth Rowe
Tom Phelan Louisa Calio
Steven Schmidt Roxanne Hoffman
Richard Vetere Cindi Sansone-Braff
Lloyd Abrams Darren Sardelli
Robert Lipsyte Barb Reiher-Meyers
Gayl Teller Gail Goldstein

There is still time to be a Sponsor or a Program Patron!
All funds raised (all--not net--all) by the program help send underprivileged kids to Kamp Kiwanis. Sponsorships are $150 and include your name and logo on signs, posters and the thousands of flyers we distribute, as well as on all announcements (including every email we send).

We are also offering "Program Patrons" for $25. "Program Patrons" will have their names listed on the weekly program we will be distributing each week.

If you would like to become a sponsor or a Program Patron, send your check made payable to "Oceanside Kiwanis" to 68 Yorktown Street, Rockville Centre, NY 11570-- email or include your logo and the listing you want us to print.

If you are interested in being a sponsor, please contact me for more for more information.

Whether you read for us this year or not, I encourage you to come on down, every Monday in June, July and August, for a nice, quiet summer's evening on Schoolhouse Green!!
Many thanks!
